MEDIA/JOURNALISM EXPERIENCE:

Content Director, Lifeboat Limited (UK) at Krakow, Poland, from January 2009 to August 2010. Developed and promoted content for a range of print publications and websites. Managed and trained a team of writers and editors. Printed publications included The Krakow Post and Guide for Cracow, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Zakopane. Online sites included Cracow-life.com, Warsaw-life.com and more than 20 other travel-related websites as well as social pages on major sites such as Facebook. Daily responsibilities included managing the team budget and staff administration, network server and digital workflow, as well as content and revenue generation and development.

Editor, The Antarctic Sun at McMurdo Station, Antarctica, from October 2003 to February 2005. Cooperated with a team of 2 other writers/editors to produce a monthly publication about the science on the seventh continent and everyday life of those who work there.

Online content editor, The Idaho Statesman at Boise, Idaho, USA, from June 2000 to September 2003. My small team developed IdahoStatesman.com from its infancy to a fully fledged website with content updated daily along with breaking news, advertising and special sections. During my tenure we saw page views grow exponentially and set the stage for future advertising revenues. We were awarded best website by the Idaho Press Club as well as numerous internal Gannett company honors.
